Jtree again 12/15-16

Jtree with Paul, Pat, and Val. On Saturday we did about four 5.9 range climbs across the street and about (3/4 mi hike in) from trash can rock. Val was so eager to climb that while I was belaying Ken Val would grab the rope and attempt to pull Ken up the climb. Shortly after finishing the climbs there, Val left us in search of new climbs. That night Ken and I crashed the group site next door (which had a huge campfire) while Paul and Pat went to town for food. On Sunday after many hours of struggling, we climbed hobbit roof (10d). We then went to woman boulders(?) and did a 10c and 5.9. Ken makes a great trad rope gun. :)

Joshua Tree, 12/9

Jtree with Ken, Dave O. and Rachel. It was raining and snowing on the drive there, so we decided to boulder rather than climb routes. The rain stopped and we were able to boulder on the trashcan traverse and the chocolate boulders. I'd never been to the chocolate boulders, and they were pretty cool. There's a pretty cool v4 that I need to go back for.

Canyoneering with AJ, Mike Busch and Debbie. Super cloud is short but fun with a high rapel to hike ratio. :)

BackBlog.San Luis Obispo, Mt. Biking - 9/9-10/2007

My first real mt. biking experience, which was training for the famous annual "mud 'n' blood". After running morning glory the first day, I thought twice about MNB, but the second day was more mellow. Carl let us stay in the new SLO sails warehouse.
